We are proud to announce the arrival of our new dentist, Dr. Monika Aneja.
Dr. Monika Aneja was born in Fairfax, VA and was raised in Ormond Beach, Florida. She graduated from the International Baccalaureate program at Spruce Creek High School. While attending, she was always active throughout the community and internationally on mission trips. She earned the Daytona Beach News Journal Medallion of Excellence Award and graduated Summa Cum Laude.
Dr. Aneja received her undergraduate degree from the University of Miami, where she pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology and Immunology and a minor in Chemistry, graduating Magna Cum Laude. After graduation, she moved to Gainesville, FL to attend the University of Florida College of Dentistry. She completed her Doctorate of Dental Medicine Degree with research distinction. Dr. Aneja is currently studying the art and science of dental implant restoration under the mentorship of Dr. Nitash Patel of The Dental Implant Institute of Tampa.
During her four years of dental school, she served on many mission trips including ones to the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, and India to provide dentistry for those with limited access to care.
Dr. Aneja likes to stay active within the dental community by volunteering, completing continuing education courses, and attending local study groups. She is currently a member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Pinellas County Dental Association, and Seattle Study Club.
